The Nevada County Concert Band (directed by Cheryl Woldseth) plays John Philip Sousa's "The Stars and Stripes Forever" as the encore at the 2nd concert of 3 Picnic Pops Concerts held annually each summer at Pioneer Park in Nevada City, California.

This 7/26/2009 concert was themed "Americans We," and featured an extended band. In July, the NCCBand hosts a "musician invitational" event, and invites band/percussion players to join for the day (including a morning rehearsal and sheet music in advance). There were 61 guest musicians joining the 50 NCCBand members at this event.

For some reason, this recording features a single tuba along with the band. We're not sure why, but it is fun to hear.
