Good Traits: A great pass protector with the ability to play in any offensive scheme has long frame with prototype arms and athleticism to garner the left tackle spot. Has blossomed well and was a former tight end gone tackle A lot like a former Chippewa Joe Staley did and it worked out great. Showed he can play up to big time players at senior bowl practice where he was the most dominate lineman in the entire camp.
Bad Traits: Can get bull rushed very easily. Week to week will he dominate de in the NFL played in Mac were we know there no sec? Has missed games in the past. Could still bulk up and max out frame a little more. Good but not great in the run game
2. Luke Joeckel OT Texas A&M 6'6 306 27 Reps Arm Length:34 187/200
Good Traits: Held Top Competition to an abrupt and really held his own in the best league in college football as far as Pass Rushers. Has a great bender good feet work and showed guys to the Outside very well. Doesn't really miss games has great attendance record witch we know is very important for an O-line group will be ready day one to Man your blindside or front side has advance Technique.
Bad Traits: played with 3 Mobile QB at Texas A&M was and they saved his butt when he gets beat to the inside. Is susceptive to inside pass rushing Moves is not overly athletic could potential play right tackle early and if you're picking in the top 5 you what a franchise left tackle has good but not great athleticism
3. Lane Johnson OT Oklahoma 6'6 303 28 reps Arm Length: 35 185/200
Good Traits: The Most Athletic Offensive lineman I ever evaluated and I done this for 12 years now. Has the biggest upside of any player in this Draft class and is a shoe in top 15 pick. Is a fast learner and really bright guy. Just fun guy and one of the most likable guys in the entire draft (my personal vote this year for prospect I would like going fishing with) Has all pro potential witch showed at the combine senior bowl and Cotton bowl this year.
Bad Traits: has only manned the tackle position for one year and will need work a polished technique was a former QB and TE who moved to college and doesn't seem to have the little mean streak most O-line man have. Average blocker in the run game.
4. D.J. Fluker OT Alabama 6'4 339 21 reps 36 inch 175/200
Good Traits: The best Muller of any Tackle this year draft puts body on the turf. Has a mean streak and was a real emotional leader at Alabama a lot of experience facing first round pick. Has long arms and maxed out frame. Was a highly recruited prospect who lived up to expectations so if you draft him in the 1st round the pressure probably doesn't get to him and has little bust potential.
Bad Traits: is suited more for the right side Power scheme and will be limited versatility. Is not very athletic and can be beat by has limited pass protection technique and has average to below average. Won't fit in zone blocking scheme. Had slow feet.
