High school students and their teachers came to Georgia Tech this past summer to investigate how some microorganisms can live under conditions, such as extreme heat, cold or salinity that would be inhospitable to most life-forms on earth. The camp is run by the Center for Ribsomal Orgins and Evolution at Georgia Tech, part of the NASA Astrobiology Institute.
