London hyperlocal bloggers, and community site managers, met BBC staff organising the digital switchover help service to plan how they could make people aware of the change in April 2012, and what support is available. The event was organised by Hugh Flouch of Networked Neighbourhoods. In this interview by social reporter David Wilcox, Hugh explains how the collaboration might help develop a network for London hyperlocal sites, and Samantha Latouche tells us more about the help service. Presenter Maggie Philbin is promoting the service around the country - and is also an avid user of her local site in Chiswick. Maggie explains why she thinks local sites are so important in their neighbourhoods. More at http://socialreporter.com/?p=1991
