Are YOU or a loved one at risk for developing diabetes? This program meet weekly with a lifestyle coach and a peer support group to learn the skills you need to prevent Diabetes. You will learn how to eat healthier and become more active; how to make your habits healthier and get the long-term support you need to stick with the changes. Attending this free program can prevent diabetes by 58 to 71 percent! Classes meet weekly for 16 weeks, then monthly for the following 6 months. The goals of the program include a 7 percent weight loss and working up to 150 minutes of physical activity a week.
