The Saptah chanting ceremony is a long-standing tradition that honors the conclusion of one year and beginning of the next at Kripalu, a yoga and meditation center in the Berkshires. This brief clip features a chant in honor of the Hindu god Ganesh, Remover of Obstacles. In India, it's customary to pray to him at the start of any new venture (e.g. the New Year, a new job, project, business, relationship, etc.). Best of luck with all your new ventures in 2010!
