Norwich student Tyler Hermanson and geology Prof. Richard Dunn spent two weeks in summer 2011 figuring out how to study the geology of a bay on a Greek peninsula.
It was not a project that came easily -- much of the data was collected while crawling through dense, thorny underbrush in scorching heat. They had to work hard, but it proved an invaluable learning experience for geology major Hermanson.
During the project, they collected this video footage. To learn more about Norwich and other research opportunities, visit Norwich University online at www.norwich.edu.
