Great Formula 1 sounds from the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Narrated by Phill Hill. Sounds include: Brabham Repco V8, Lotus Coventry-Climax V8, Honda V12, Cooper Maserati V12 and Ferrari V12.

I've added some random photos of '66/'67 Grand Prix cars. They might NOT correspont to the sounds you hear!

(1967, Side A, Track 2. Extra info: Every Formula One engine has its own distinctive sound and Phil Hill identifies them - Jack Brabham's Repco V8, Jim Clark's Lotus Coventry-Climax V8, Richie Ginther's V-12 Honda, and John Surtees' Cooper-Maserati, as they warm up for the start of the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. The next sound track is the best loved of all racing sounds, that of a V-12 Ferrari, obtained from a tape recorder mounted on Michael Parkes' Formula One Ferrari as he lapped the Monza road circuit in Italy.
