About Hakan Habip:

Realizing the fact that he does not have what it takes to be a comedian, he is a full-time father/hacker, part time networker at a financial institution, and the President of Bilim Kahramanları Derneği. Since 2000 he is uncomfortably carrying possibly some world changing (for the better, he hopes) ideas. He is sharing/testing them everyday. He is thankful for being born in Turkey, for his family, for his spouse & children; he is thankful to the Universe for everything. To pay back and to add meaning & further joy to his life along with other volunteers he has been organizing scientific tournaments in Turkey for the last 8 years.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local,
self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like
experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to
spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local,
self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized
TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx
program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to
