I should buy his hands first. He seems to be the kind of player who can squeeze great guitar tones out of a broom.

I saved up for a yr and finally had $2k. Went and ordered this exact guitar. It sounded great and had a great neck that made it super easy to play but my Mexican tele is built better. It was falling a part. The strings all rattled. It wouldn't stay in tune. The list goes on. Really sad that Gibson has came to this. These are simple things gibson can correct and I could also correct them but if someone spends 2k on a guitar, it should work properly. I returned it and got a 56 reissue strat and it's the cats ass. So nice but I still want an es 339. I see they came out with the es 339 studio semi hollow but haven't seen a review

I've had both the Gibson and the Epiphone. Now I have the Epiphone. Save your money. Get a Epiphone ES -339 Pro.

I bought the 339 satin a couple of weeks ago and returned it in 2 days. It would NOT stay in tune. Even after I had a guy reset it up for me. The neck was too skinny and on the high frets way too cramped. It had no guts. The tech is a pro guy that travels with top name guys. He knows what he is doing. I ended up with the Epiphone Genesis which is a far superior guitar than this overpriced. The Epiphone knock off 339 is a better deal than this.

I have had one of these for 6 months. It is a great guitar, everything Jeff states in the video is spot on. I can play just about any style with this guitar. Intonation is perfect and it stays in tune really well even after several sets of play.
For $2,100 less I'll take the Ephiphone ES-339 Pro.  Gibson just cost way too much for what you get.
