This May, the 210th, 211th and 212th Rescue Squadrons, Alaska Air National Guard, with their HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter and the 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment based out of Camp Lejeune, N.C., will be deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. This training is necessary to not only provide a muscle memory for the Guardian Angel teams but also to strengthen the bond between sister services.
