That is not an assault rifle, and wow, what a stupid thing to do, points the rifle at a person, loaded, with finger on the trigger, I know I'm being a bit of a dick, but seriously, you guys, please don't breed.

Assault rifles are selective fire weapons that are intermediate cartridges which is between full rifle and pistol cartridges if its not got a switch for semi to full auto its not an assault rifle

@vtogvblog The artical was writen in 2009 beacuase the press kept refering to ar 15 styled rifles as "assult weapons" and they are not. It was makeing rifle owners upset because it was making them look bad like they own assult rifles when they do not.

@vtogvblog search for learn about guns dot com the ar15 modern sporting rifle. I can post a link. This website to help with your ignorance. It explains what an assult rifle is. In alot of states it is leagal to own one, I live in PA. Here you can obtain one by having a class 3 FFL or buy paying a 200 dollar tax stamp for that weapon as long as you qualify for it. This is a m4 carbine sporting rifle.
