While the global financial crisis has given the world's advanced economies pause, it's done little to dampen the economic outlook for China. In spite of the blow it took from a collapse in exports, the International Monetary Fund expects China's economy to grow by up to 6% this year and, following close on its heels is India. But India would also like to see itself as the leading power in the region.
