When it comes to conversations on race and racism, white racial identity and experiences are rarely centered. Instead, it is treated as “normal,” “universal,” and “or un-discussable”. With the ever changing racial makeup of this country and the recent election, conversations around race, racism and allyhood are becoming more important. This conversation explores white racial identity, whether one’s experience is centered around ally-ship, colorblindness, or the belief that race is not a significant factor in people’s lives.
