A mission set near Mt. Elbrus, Europe's higest mountain at 18510 feet. To rescue two downed pilots. We provide an escort flying the DCS Ka-50 Black Shark. Two Mi-8 "Sandy" rescue helo's will provide the "dust off". Unlike the A-10 "Tempus Fugit" mission, here we don't have command of large package assets, yourself and your wingman are escort. There is a CAS on call, if required. The mission, I compiled, can be downloaded from the DCS website. Hopefully the mission is a test of helicopter mountain flying and more......Since returning to DCS 1.5.3, this mission requires re scripting. I will enhance it and hopefully re upload to work with the latest version. Now that we have AWACS and JTAC/FAC ability, with TurboHog's mod, there are more options:-)

Similar mission building interface as the A-10, it provides much scope to fine tune the mission. The aim being to have different outcomes each time you run it! You will not succeed every time. There is a random element of chance that you will run into an ambush! Enemy assets are variable, in number and type. Thus avoiding the Axiom from Einstein, " Doing the same thing over again and expecting different results"!

The Blackshark here is a British Army helo!
