The FIRST Robotics Competition 2012 Autodesk Award for Excellence in Design, 3D Animation honors excellence in student animation, including an understanding of the design process, storytelling, technical execution, creativity and aesthetics, and clear, concise, and compelling communication. Teams were tasked to create a 30 second animation that tells the story of how the "iiko" will help us rebuild our educational facilities here on earth. Over 120 teams submitted animations, and this video features the 21 finalists and the Championship winner.
