Vanderbilt honors Psychology and Economics major Depeng (Jim) Jin took over Vanderbilt's Library Lawn on the evening of March 28th, with his temporary public art installation called "Every/thing is Illum/nated". He used hundreds of balloons illuminated with tiny white LED lights and encouraged people to, "Please touch the art."

This installation is Jim's "Showcase" project for the Creative Campus Residential Fellows
(http://www.vanderbilt.edu/ccrf/), a Living Learning Community of undergraduates at Vanderbilt. The Office of Arts & Creative Engagement (ACE) is working with the Office of Active Citizenship and Service (OACS) around this project to garner volunteers to help with this event and to explore the question: "Is Art a type of service?"
