THE MOST ECONOMICAL WAY: 1. Buy 5 sets of the above Tzitzit at $4 per set. 2. Remove the long strings from 4 sets and dye them. 3. Divide the strings from the 5th set among the other 4 sets and cut the long strings to match the length of the others.
When you are done, you will have exactly enough for 4 complete sets. In other words, you will have 4 dyed long strings and 16 white short strings per set.
