The Kambala is a traditional dance practiced by most of Sudan´s tribes. Here in the Nuba Mountains we witnessed one of those dances as the crowning finish of a ceremony that the chief, Mohammad Rahal Mohammad Rahal (yes, twice!), had invited us to. The expression of joy that the locals showed, were amazing and the mood, that the rising dust in a fading sun created, was almost magical!
