BILL BRADY DOESN'T VOTE FOR ANIMALS - DON'T VOTE FOR HIM
Just two days after winning the Republican primary for governor, Senator Bill Brady sponsored a bill to permit mass euthanization of sheltered animals in gas chambers.

Brady's bill would have reversed a compromise worked out over two years by the Humane society, the Farm Bureau and veterinarians.

Under the Bill Brady plan, it can take up to 30 minutes for animals to die. And sometimes they even survive the torture.

Bill Brady's approach to our pets gives us a frightening indication of how he's act as Governor.

We can't afford someone so out of touch with the concerns of the people of Illinois and even basic standards of humane care.

Governor Pat Quinn is a lifelong pet lover and proud owner of a twelve-year-old Yorkshire terrier. Pat Quinn understands the importance of treating animals kindly and justly.

* Committed to the humane treatment of animals
• Signed legislation to keep our pets safe from accidental poisoning
• Recently increased penalties for people participating in dog fighting and live-bait dog racing

Pat Quinn is the only candidate for governor with a long history of supporting animal and guardian rights.
