ICMA’s 2018-2019 President Karen Pinkos, inspires the more than 2,000 local government leaders at the ICMA Annual Conference in Baltimore with her messages of empowerment, inclusiveness, and resilience.
She was introduced by retiring El Cerrito City Manager Scott Hanin, whom Pinkos will replace and joined by her mayor and police chief. Memorable quotes: “I am ICMA. We are ICMA.” “It’s not politically correct, it’s just correct.”
