This is an edit from our recent skiing trip to St.Anton in Austria. It was a week full of great snow conditions, powder, laughs and falls. We flew into Friedrichshafen Airport in Germany and had a coach transfer of about an hour and half. Once we got to resort we were greeted to great snowfall overnight.
We did some village hopping and skied to St.Christoph and Stuben. This is always good fun as you get to explore most of the mountains and maximise your skiing.
I recommend anyone going to St.Anton to start off over at Rendl in the morning. It is up on the opposite side the the main side of St.Anton but it offers quieter runs in the morning.
We did do a day trip to Lech which we pre-booked a taxi for as waiting for the bus can be crowded and offer a later arrival. By booking the taxi we were able to be the first ones off the lift. Weather conditions were bad but were great for snowfall, meaning we stepped off the first chairlift into knee deep powder. During the day we had planned to do the 'White loop' which is a circle from Lech to Zurs to Zug and back across to the main town of Lech. Due to weather conditions the lifts at the top of Zurs on the west side were closed so we had to get a bus back into Lech.
All in all a fantastic holiday and if you want amazing skiing with miles of runs and great après-ski. This is the place for you!
