When the BP oil spill hit, tourism along the Gulf Coast plummeted, despite the fact that most beaches were unaffected. "Friend Florida" was an initiative set forth by the 4th District of the American Advertising Federation, to encourage people to "friend" Florida on Facebook and share their oil-free vacation experiences, helping to show friends and family that our clean, sunny beaches are still here. As part 2 of the Friend Florida initiative, this spot takes a humorous look at the Florida equivalent of winter.
