missy and tim don't want to do it, until they get consent from aaliyah's parents. They want their blessing first. Its called "RESPECT" Younger generation don't understand shit like that.

Papa Molly
Her mother, father, and brother are not ok with this. Her uncle is the one who owns the rights to her music and he denied Missy and Tim when they wanted to do a posthumous album but all of a sudden when drake wants to do it he's ok with it? The guy only sees cash signs man.

We all want this album to release. I'm glad drake is doing this. Enough Said was a success
money in NO WAY indicates talent in music look at the whole of young money and justin beiber they stackin paper to the fuckin roof while immortal technique and other good rappers get little recognition
This dude is an idiot. First of all, Aaliyah worked with a lot of producers/ writers. People saying  Drake shouldn't do the album...that Missy and Timbaland should, are all haters. Missy and Tim were only big on her 2nd album, Static Major was the one who did most of Aaliyah's songs and her biggest hits…. "Are you that somebody?" "Try Again", "We Need A Resolution", Rock The Boat", "More Than A Woman" and almost all the songs on her last album were written by him. Aaliyah's cousin, Jomo Hankerson, who is president of her label Blackground records said that if Aaliyah was still here she would of worked with Drake because he has his own sound and that's what Aaliyah would aim for. Plus Drake is trying to keep baby girl's legacy alive and introducing her to the younger generation who needs to hear her music and know who she was.

I don't even think she was human. Just a quick glimpse of an angel. Or a model of what woman should be like and how one should act. She also didn't swear in her songs and I don't think she would appreciate that seeing as how she has such a young following. She needs to be left in peace, her music doesn't need to be touched. It is also spelled "Hater" and it is "her."I don't know anyone who makes "ha" music. He would also be a total dickhead if tried to put this out to make money.

only difference with that is Aaliyah actually knew DMX and they were Close or good friends , Drake didnt even know the woman. But common Logic and FACTS dont matter to you though , right? =)
