On Fox News on March 4, 2013, Jay Sekulow and Mark Hannah debate whether the US should be providing aid to Egypt in the wake of its revolution, and its election of President Morsi. Sekulow suggests that foreign aid only encourages Morsi's consolidation of power while Hannah argues that foreign aid is an important part of America's national security apparatus, that aid can be used to incentivize democratic reform in a way that's consistent with America's national interest.
