The one and only Buddy Holly died on February 3, 1959, a day many believed was the "day the music died," as immortalized in Don Maclean's famous song, "American Pie." Jackson Browne noted when doing his tribute track of a Holly classic for the acclaimed Listen To Me album that that Holly's death on February 3, 1959 "was not the day the music died; it was the day the music became immortal." Join Jackson Browne, Stevie Nicks, Lyle Lovett, and other music icons as they pay tribute to - and perform - Holly's immortal music in the historic concert, Buddy Holly: Listen to Me. Airing on PBS in June 2012. Check local listings for air times. http://www.listentomebuddyholly.com
