The University of North Dakota profiles UND special education and early childhood development double major student Kate Wilson as our Student of the Month. Kate's chosen fields of study take her out of the UND classroom, and into the classrooms of local community schools and organizations. And as the reigning "Miss Grand Forks", Kate is even more active in the community as a local celebrity and volunteer for the Children's Miracle Network. Kate is an active member of the Gamma Phi Beta national sorority, and is very proud of the connections she has made there and with the UND community. Kate embraces the full university experience.
Kate is carrying on a family tradition as both of her parents are alumni of UND.
