My Rosh Hashanah New Year's Resolution--do what the Holy Spirit lays upon my heart quickly. Time is short. Scripture References: Song of Solomon 2:8-17; Matthew 25; Romans 13:11-12 Inspiration: Pastor Paul Begley, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5bsBh... http://paulbegleyprophecy.com/Live_st... Paulbegleyprophecy.com & Patrick Winfrey channel, YouTube Hi you tubers! its me again I decided to make this video because it is Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year , if the rabbis see the new moon. And my new years resolution for the Jewish new year is to obey the prompting of the holy spirit when I feel him putting something in my heart to do or so, not to put it off Last night I was watching Paul Begley prophecy on live stream, I highly recommend that, if any of you do not know about Paul Begley Prophecy, I've put the link below. And he was reading from the song of Solomon. And, the Holy Spirit impressed me that we are like the bride in the Song of Solomon. Song of Solomon chapter 2, verses 8-17The Beloved, is a type of Jesus Christ the Bridegroom and The person speaking is the Shulamite woman, the bride... He is trying to get her to wake up and come with him.We see when we go down to v. 17, when she speaks again, that she is asleep She's telling him, "go away and come back in the morning I've gotta get my beauty rest. "Pastor p did not address this scripture in this way, but as he was reading this scripture I read ahead in the Bible to the end (of the chapter) where she says, go away until the day breaks and the shadows flee go away. Be like the gazelle!I though as I was reading this about pastor Patrick in the Philippines (and I have put a link to his channel below also). He had a vision. He dreamed of a hotel, a lovely hotel on the beach, with people in their lawn chairs drinking fruity drinks with little umbrellas. There were watchers on the top levels of the hotel, who could see there was a storm coming, and they were trying to get the attention of those below in the lawn chairs, but none would believe them. They were in the lawn chairs, and did not see or believe. In the Song of Solomon, the one trying to het her attention is the Bridegroom Himself, trying to get the bride's attention, saying, "Come with me! Wake up! Wake up!". Like us Christians. sitting on our padded pews--a bunch of Christian-ettes, listening to sermon-ettes given by preacher-ettes!What will it take to wake us up?Parable found in Matthew 25:"Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. (they ALL slumbered and slept, every single one of them!) "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is cominggo out to meet him!' Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' But the wise answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.' 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. "Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.' "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour n which the Son of Man is coming."The thing I believe the Holy Spirit seems to be saying to me is, what does He, the Holy Sprit, need to do? What does God need to do? What does Jesus Christ need to do to wake up the Church? We are like the sleeping brides maids. We are like the sleeping bride in the song of sol.He is peering thru the windows. He is looking thru the lattices. He is knocking on the door saying, "wake up! Wake up! Come away with me! Come be with me!"And we are so cold, dry and have let our oil run out of our lamps and are so preoccupied with the things of this world that we do not want to turn over our lives fully to Jesus ChristBut, let me give one last scripture that the holy spirit let me remember in relation to this....Romans 13:11-12 Verse 11: "...knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep.." I think, we the church, are still in our comfortable beds like the Shulamite woman in the Song of Solomon. We don't want2wake up. What does Jesus have to do to get our attention? What has to happen before the church will wake up and will cry out to God and make ourselves ready? Jesus is coming soon, He's coming, He's coming, He's coming!Get ready, get ready, get ready, get ready!
