Groups of students have to cross the floor using teamwork in this cooperative activity, demonstrated by Carlos Rodriguez and students of Rogers Street Academy.

Radio "Active" River is an excellent activity for early in the school year to develop teamwork. The video is probably used best as an example of how to set up and implement the lesson.

Grade level: 5-8

Addresses Wisconsin Physical Education Standard 5: "Exhibits responsible personal and social behavior that respects self and others in physical activity settings."

Requires: 5-6 poly spots per group
