Watch where you step in the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden's north conservatory between now and Oct. 14, or you might step on one of around 7,000 butterflies that will be ordered over the course of the exhibition. Technicians care for the chrysalides in a behind-the-scenes emergence room - seen in the slide show - before releasing them Wednesdays at 2 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m. in the conservatory.
