With a long name like "ProPresenter", people are bound to use abbreviations, but which should you use? You might have seen PP, ProP, ProPre, ProPres, or other ones, but I'd like to argue that Pro and the version number is the best thing to call it. Why?

First, it's less confusing. PP is also what some people call PowerPoint, although it's supposed to be PPT. A prop is a layer in ProPresenter, so if you say ProP, it might mean that layer, and not the software.

Second, it's what Renewed Vision calls it.

Third, it just makes search easier.
