The new Factorial Repeated Measures ANOVA procedure in Version 17 analyzes experiments in which repeated measurements have been made on the same experimental subject. For example, patients may be given a drug and their reaction measured at various times after it was administered. The procedure tests for significant differences amongst levels of the within-subject factor and up to 2 between-subject factors. Mauchley’s test for sphericity is performed and alternative tests are provided for cases where sphericity is not present. Polynomial models are also fit to describe the pattern of the response over time.
