How To Spot Fake Miles Davis Tribute Headphones:
The main giveaway of the fakes besides not coming with supertips or super tip carrier is the L SHAPED STEREO ADAPTER PLUG! The L shaped metal part of the connector on the fakes is LONGER than the genuine. The genuine Miles Davis at one time came in the older boxes but they ALWAYS have had the same size L shaped connector and came with the supertips and carrier.

Viewers: To see the GENUINE L shaped connector length go to 5:47 on this video:

A nice comparison of the Genuine Miles Davis to the fake. He has the older style box. Note that it comes with REAL SUPERTIPS and the carrier. Also pay attention to the L SHAPED CONNECTOR comparison at 4:35 in the following video:

Remember is the L Shaped connector is longer than the ones in My video or these other 2 videos they are FAKE! Dont buy them and if you bought them thinking they were real, send them back.

I hope this helps someone avoid accidentally purchasing fakes because there are so many fake Monster products around and douchebags trying to rip people off selling fakes as genuine. If you are in the market for these headphones, buy them at an authorized retailer! I purchased these directly from Best Buy because there are too many fake Monster products around.

A quick search of Youtube and you will see how good the fakes look compared to the genuine versions. There are telltale signs, but unless you know what to look for its nearly impossible to tell the difference on looks alone. The largest difference between fakes and genuine outside of packaging and accessories are the sound. Even if they look close, THERE IS NO COMPARISON with the sound of a genuine!!! I will have other videos in the future showing the difference between fake and genuine Monster products so be sure to subscribe to our channel.

First impressions... they sound amazing and look even better! The packaging of the Miles Davis Tributes, and looks of the headphones is so damn beautiful. They beat anything in the Monster line, in looks and presentation of packaging.

Miles Davis Tributes have noticeably more bass than the Monster Turbine Pro Coppers, more forward mids however, they sacrifice SOME clarity of the highs that the coppers have. The highs are GREAT, but...and its a big but, if you listened to the coppers right next to these, the coppers have more clarity up top.

The bass on the Miles Davis Tributes are deeper, fatter, than the Turbine Pro Coppers, and while still very nice and neat, the coppers have a neater more punchy bass quality albeit less heavy.

Overall I LOVE these headphones, their bass is awesome, looks are awesome and they sound is AMAZING, BUT, I still prefer the coppers over any other because of how well balanced they are. With EQ,ing you can make the coppers do anything you want, however the highs on the on the Miles Davis even with some EQing do not match the quality of the Coppers, and thats the reason the coppers remain my favourite headphone to date from Monster. Don't get me wrong the highs on the Miles Davis are fantastic, but they are not as crisp and clear as the coppers, but not far off.

As far as bass, even with EQing the Bass on Turbine Pro Coppers, cant compete with the depth or amount of Bass the Miles Davis tributes. Miles Davis Tributes have WONDERFUL bass. With EQing it can even be overpowering, whereas the copper is never overpowering even with EQing...for me this is perfect, for others this balanced bass may be a short coming to the coppers. It depends on your personal preferences.

The Highs on the Miles Davis are NICE, smooth with ZERO SIBILANCE. They are perfect for long listening, MUCH better than the Turbine Pro Golds and as good as Turbine Pro Coppers for long listening.

In comparison to the Turbine Pro Golds, the bass is similar, but still better with the Miles Davis. The Golds are a great sounding headphone but the highs on the golds are just too harsh for my liking. The Turbine Pro Golds sound great but will fatigue your ears quickly, and there is some sibilance with them which I dont like... especially with Vocals that have a lot of S's. S's simply sound too harsh. Words like "Silence" "Sound" etc hurt the ear as does some electronic music with the Golds.

So there you have my first impression and initial review of the Miles Davis Tributes. If I see you guys subscribing to the channel I will have a more in depth review of them all in the future for you guys so stay tuned, subscribe and thanks for watching!
