This show would make history in the Candlepin bowling world, as this was (and still is) the highest paying championship show in Candlepin bowling history, where the winner of this Championship show would take home a staggering $15,000, while the runner ups would take home $2,500 and $1,000.
The finalists for this show (Det Klein, Lou Alberghini Jr, and Dave Dupuis) really proved that they worked hard to get where they were, and in the end, the guy that bowled the best earned every penny of the $15,000 check he received.
And much like Channel 5's championship shows in the past, this show was held at Pilgrim Lanes in Haverhill.
