Medal Requirement: 50 Hits
Fortuna is probably the easiest stage in the game for earning a medal. You'll need to hone your dogfighting skills though, because to earn it you'll have to defeat all four members of the dreaded Star Wolf team. When you first arrive at Fortuna, you'll have some time to play with before Star Wolf arrives, so go for as many kills as you can. Since each Star Wolf member is worth a hit+10 each, and the medal requires 50 hits, you'll want to have about 10-15 hits before you engage them in battle. Bear in mind that it's possible (although admittedly rare) for one of your wingmen to shoot down one of the Star Wolf members, in which case you won't be awarded the hit bonus (because you didn't do the job yourself). Obviously, that would suck, so try not to let it happen.
Once the Star Wolf team arrives, check your map and immediately start chasing the nearest Wolf member. If you've got powered-up lasers, you shouldn't enough much difficulty blowing them away - it's just keeping them in sight that's difficult. If one of them starts tailing you, immediately do a 360 (Down + Left C) and hit the air brake while turning sharply to the left or right to follow them and get some good shots in. You can't lock on to Star Wolf ships, and you can't use bombs on them, so this is the only effective way of attacking them. Repeat the process over and over until they're all gone. (Just be sure to help out your wingmen if they get in trouble.) If you successfully lay waste to the entire Star Wolf team before the time runs out, you'll exit to Solar. Otherwise, it's on to Sector X.
