Richard Catalano, Ph.D., Bartley Dobb professor for the Study and Prevention of Youth Violence; Director of the Social Development Research Group; and professor at the School of Social Work at the University of Washington, shares study findings on the effects of positive youth development (PYD) programs on teen's sexual and reproductive health behaviors. Catalano discusses findings from program evaluations, and lists core PYD elements that help programs succeed.
