I think that there are ideas in our society that have become skewed by modern thinking, and that our definitions of these ideas are leading our society astray.
The definitions which I believe have become tainted are the definitions of "Success", "Beauty", and "Need". And I think these are all very important ideas to have well defined as these can become three pillars which support society.
This video will discuss how we have defined success, and what metrics make up our rubrics for success.
This video was created as an assignment in which I was supposed to create a four minute talk, similar to those from TED, on any topic that I felt strongly about. These are my own thoughts and I hope that this video will be able to start a thought with you as well about the importance for our society to redefine success.
I would love to share my thoughts on redefining "Beauty" and "Need", and maybe if I get around to it, I will post similar videos on those two as well. Thanks for watching.
