Stella Jean was invited by Giorgio Armani to present her Spring/Summer 2014 collection at his Teatro Armani during Milan Fashion Week. The hit collection propelled Stella Jean to notoriety and marked the start of her collaboration with the Ethical Fashion Initiative. Stella Jean used hand-woven fabrics from Burkina Faso that are made by women artisans part of the Ethical Fashion Initiative network.
The video depicts the starting point of Stella Jean’s adventure with the Ethical Fashion Initiative, from her first visit to Burkina Faso to the day of the runway and finally backstage with Stella Jean and renowned fashion editors, including Suzy Menkes and Franca Sozzani.
