This video was recorded live at Oak City Bar & Grill during the finals of the Menlo Idol competition of which I was the winner.

Here are the lyrics:

Well I've been fighting a battle Seems my whole life long
Some think it should be easy but I can tell you that they're wrong
All these fitness guru's and all the diet books
And all the skinny cover girls all is focused on our looks
Feel like I got a billion pounds to loose I've got the big butt blues.

Well some will tell you beauty is about what's in your heart
Tell you that you're rubinesque a zaftig work of art
But I know what they're thinking when not in PC mode
They're thinking that before too long I'll need my own zip code
Makes me wanna down a bottle of booze I've got the big butt blues

And so I try to diet you name it I will try it Dexatrim and Jenny Craig you sell it I will buy it
Been to South Beach Sonoma and Hamptons
Low carb no carb atkins
No matter what I do 1 step forward back for 2
seems no matter how I pay my dues I've got the big butt blues

Try to be good do what I should
Try to do it every day
but then I get screwed by some stupid food and nothin's gonna get in it's way

and then I got cheeseburgers French frys calling my name I got ice cream apple pie invading my brain I got nachos smothered in guacamole and sour cream stalking me and chocolate éclairs all filled up with Bavarian custard sweet talking me
no matter how many delicious temptations I try to refuse I still wind up with the big butt blues.

Don't feel much like dying so Still I keep on trying
I walk the dog and exercise and there is no denying
That the older I become the more I'm realizing that all I really want is to fit into single digit sizing so I
continue on my quest to loose the big butt blues.
