George Zimmerman's new attorney said Wednesday that his client will plead not guilty to second-degree murder in the death of unarmed Florida teen Trayvon Martin.

Mark O'Mara asked that people not jump to conclusions, saying he's "hoping that the community will calm down" now that charges have been filed and the case is moving forward.

Zimmerman has acknowledged shooting Martin but says it was in self-defense after the two got into a fight on Feb. 26.
