The Happy Accident recounts one family's seventy-six days in India in the middle of a two hundred and seventy-five day journey around the world. One hundred and sixty full colour pages with hundreds of photographs, the book is a compilation of blog posts written throughout those travels as well as some new writing and reflections on the experience.

This is Book Two. Book One recounts one hundred and thirty-eight days through Italy, Greece, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt.
Book Three follows the family through Southeast Asia - Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos - and their return home where the writer, who is a visual artist, prepares for an art exhibition full of work inspired by their travels.

No camera crews, no support staff, and no intention to throw themselves into ridiculous or contrived situations. Just a regular family on an extraordinary journey.
