"How can I tell if my baby is hungry?" is a question many breastfeeding mothers ask. There are a few telltale signs that tell you your baby is hungry and ready to eat. The early infant hunger cues are when babies put their hands in their mouths, make sucking noises, and root. Crying is a late sign of hunger, but babies cry for lots of reasons, not only when they're hungry.

In this baby gooroo video, with breastfeeding expert Amy Spangler, new mothers talk about the signs that let you know your baby is hungry.
