Here we have a crappy video of a 1983 Granny and the Gators pinball machine by Bally.

This machine is fairly interesting with the video/pinball integration. Paddle down the river while avoiding or shooting at gators and savages. Enter the pinball dimension to collect ammo, gold, extra boats and power paddles.

The video game is fun and unique. The pinball is pretty lackluster and limited, but it's also small compared to a normal machine. Overall, it's not a horrible game, but not a great one either. The game was released at a time when pinball had been stomped by video games and Bally was clearly trying really hard to prevent people from forgetting about pinball entirely.

Granny and the Gators was designed by Claude Fernandez with artwork by Pat McMahon and Margaret Hudson.
