This is the opening video in this series on running form presented by Mike Hamberger, founder and operator of DC Running Coach, LLC. This "Intro A" video is a general introduction to the video series, including overarching philosophies as how this approach to running mechanics might differ significantly from much of what you've previously heard, read, or have been told, especially as it pertains to stride rate, foot strike and/or minimalist run shoes.

Those 3 videos in particular are long because they are thorough and offer lots of details/considerations on a topic that has unfortunately been made "all too simple" by recent popular trends in the running community.

This video series was filmed and produced by me, without any outside assistance or a budget, so pardon any imperfections in sound, speech, and/or visual aesthetics :) I hope you find this video series beneficial, and can follow it along from video #1 through video #6 (plus the extra "Intro B" video containing more info about my background)! ~Mike
