The last of the 6 victims of the June 10th tragic air crash in Kibiku Forest in Ngong, Captain Luke Oyugi was laid to rest at a solemn burial ceremony at Imbaya village, banana estate in Siaya County. a 21-gun salute signified the final respects accorded to the late Captain Oyugi by the police force. The 37-year-old husband and father of 5 was hailed for his dedicated service as a pilot. In attendance were CID Director Ndegwa Muhoro and Assistant Minister for Education Professor Ayiecho Olweny. Captain Oyugi perished alongside the late Internal Security Minister Prof. George Saitoti, his assistant Orwa Ojode, Captain Nancy Gituanja and bodyguards Joshua Tonkei and Thomas Murimi.
