Broadway actress and dancer Elaine Orbach has died at the age of 69.

The entertainer passed away Wednesday morning at a Manhattan hospital after recently coming down with pneumonia.

She was the widow of actor Jerry Orbach.

The two met during the original production of Kander and Ebb's "Chicago." The two were married in 1979.

After her husband's death in 2004, Orbach fought to have a portion of 53rd Street in the Theatre District renamed Jerry Orbach Way.
