This is a demo of my animatronic penguin, whose servo controlling the mouth is synchronized with an external audio track via software and and a custom circuit. The circuit converts the audio signal into a DC signal that can be read by an analog to digital converter on the SSC-32. The sound comes from the right channel on a stereo signal; the motion is derived from the left channel audio. Thus, time and/or amplitude adjustments can be made to the source to better track the audio. This was NOT done in this video so some lag may be apparent.
