A question that often comes up in purchasing a laptop is what's the difference between a glossy and matte screen? Which is better? Depending on your preferences and usage, one might be better than the other. For business users the matte screen option is generally better as it reduces glare and reflections, both of which can be a big issue when staring at the screen for hours at work. If you want to use your laptop to watch movies though, the glossy screen helps to enhance colors and could be preferable.
