This is the ninteenth part of my Pokemon Colosseum speedrun. The reason this segment took so long to complete was it required a huge amount of luck again to get past, especially in the 5th battle, and the battle against Ein. The Ein battle was far from perfect but at the end of a difficult and long segment, it went as good as I could have hoped for.

Battle 5: This was the main cause of most of my resets, and the reason why this segment took so long to complete. I needed Quick Claw to activate in turn 2 with no exception, so I could outspeed and KO both Magneton and Electrode with Rain boosted Surf + Torrent Surf. I did not have time to use an X-Speed, and even that would have failed to outspeed Electrode. Its times like this I really wish I could have got Earthquake earlier.

Battle 6: I leave the Quick Claw on so I can attempt to catch Swellow early with Blizzard, but it doesnt happen. Nevertheless, this battle goes reasonably well. Vibrava and Kadabra fall to Blizzard and Slash respectively, and Kecleon is a 2HKO with Slash also. I need to time my Blizzard use because Swellow loves to use Fly, allowing me to only hit it half the time.

I use an Elixir just to guarantee I dont run out of PP for the last two battles. I forgot the code for the door for a second, which cost me a bit of time. In hindsight I should have also used the Rare Candies here too.

Battle 7: Wobbuffet, why do I hate you so? Oh its cos you're an annoying pain in the butt, thats why. Intimidate saved my butt with the Counter against Slash, but it still hurt a lot. Ignoring Wobbuffet for the moment, I go for the Focus Energy-enhanced Hitmontop. I attempt a Bite to finish Wobbuffet, but it barely survives! I make the mistake of selecting Bite to finish it off, and hitting Hitmontop in error. This makes Wobbuffet use Destiny Bond, so I'm forced to attack his partner while I wait for Destiny Bond's 5 PP to run out. This was one of the main time-killers in the run, but I was just glad to get past Wobbuffet only being counter-attacked once.

Since I randomly picked up a PP Up earlier, I use it to take my Blizzard PP up to 8, the max it can go to. I equip the Persim Berry, cos boy will I need it. I also use the HP Up just before Ein as well.
