It looks like 'The Town' star Rebecca Hall may join Marvel's 'Iron Man 3', in a supporting role previously offered to Jessica Chastain.

Jessica had to turn down the 'Iron Man 3' role due to her busy schedule, and revealed her official decline of the offer via Facebook, writing, "My schedule is jammed packed, and I can't fit anything else in... Hopefully there'll be another Marvel film in my future."

British actress Rebecca Hall is currently in talks of filling the part, that of a scientist rivaling Stark in her genius and skills. Rebecca is best known to American audiences for her part in 'The Town,' and if she indeed gets this part, we'll surely be seeing a lot more of her. Rebecca made Hollywood first take notice when she starred in 2008 Woody Allen film, 'Vicki Cristina Barcelona,' with Scarlett Johansson.

The role is of course a supporting role in 'Iron Man 3,' as Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her role as Pepper Potts. Shane Black is directing this third installment of the franchise that will add Guy Pearce and Ben Kingsley to the cast. They will reportedly start shooting in Chine and North Carolina, and the movie is set to be released May 3, 2012.

Now, it's your turn. Tell us if you think Rebecca Hall will be a good addition to the 'Iron Man 3' cast, and be sure to subscribe to ClevverMovies for all your movie news. I'm Misty Kingma, and I'll see you next time.
